Hello and Happy New Year!
We can't believe it is 2011...a brand new year with so many exciting things in the works...
Christmas was a little rough because we missed being with family. We are definitely thankful for skype and enjoyed seeing and talking with everyone on Christmas day! We made it to a Christmas morning service at St. Paul's and, while we enjoyed the service, we were glad we were having a low-key day because we were under the weather...but thankfully we're better now!
(Here we are Christmas morning...we had a poinsettia instead of a tree!)
Usually we're sick on New Years but, because we were ahead of the game and sick the week before, we went to not 1 but 2 parties!!! We had fun talking with friends, eating yummy treats, playing Quelf, watching fireworks (both live and on tv), and celebrating Aaron's birthday after the clock struck midnight!

After sleeping in, eating the birthday boy's breakfast request of bacon and eggs, and opening a bunch of presents we went on a short walk...and then spent the day relaxing and watching football.
