We had a wonderful (albeit tiring!) "final hurrah" trip to Portugal
before moving back to San Diego in December
It was our first official trip as a family of five
and people would see our little kiddos and comment
that we were brave
(we think maybe foolish?)
but it was a fun memory maker
The kiddos were fabulous -
great explorers, fearless foodies and quite the Portuguese speakers
(Benji would walk around saying "hola, hola" and Isaac has "obrigado" (thank you) down)
Ezri made loads of friends too
elderly people on the street would stop, smile and chat a bit
(we didn't know what they were saying but Ezri loved it)
and sometimes waiters would hold her for a bit as we ate
I'll do my best to just post pictures of the highlights...and some with a little flavor of what we saw!
Day 1
Flying to Faro
(we rented a car, explored old town Faro, and then drove 3 hours up to Lisbon)
