Every February the city of York is invaded by Vikings of all ages, shapes, and sizes...and last Saturday Salena, Joel, Aaron and I got to experience the excitement!
We saw battles, a viking parade, flying demonstrations of various birds of prey - including a bald eagle! - and the 6th annual beard competition. We also made it to the fabulous National Railway Museum for a quick glimpse of the Hogwarts Express - the starring train in the Harry Potter films.
