finally we arrive in Frankfurt, Germany
home of Musikmesse
(an annual european musical product convention
and impetus of our roadtrip)
our first full day in Frankfurt
Aaron went to the conference himself
and the boys and I took the u-bahn to the zoo
(which was delightful - there were loads of baby primates to watch)
the second day we ALL went to the conference
it was held at the Messe
a massive conference center
(it was like an airport)
and packed with people, insturments, and sound
it was fun
there was a special kid area with instruments to play
and the best middle-school aged jazz band you've ever heard
the drum section was by far the loudest!
so many people, so many languages spoken
the afternath: Aaron stocked up on reading supplies!
the following day was a sunny Sunday so we went to a local park before
heading on to Cologne
there was a fun playground and a little outdoor cafe
so we lunched there
it was really yummy
